This tabletop shredder with a detachable drawer is very conveniant with a powerful motor for its size.Being smaller legal size documents need to be folded in half to shred,but everything I attempted to shred worked,credit cards,staples and layers of paper .Good value and extremely space saving and neat.

Great Buy for home use
I looked around for a shredder that wouldn't jam for home use. Also didn't want to spend a fortune for it. Mainly used for junk mail, bank statements, etc. I love the shredder shark and it works beautifully. I immediately cleaned up my work space and can depend on this machine to destroy personal information. I recommend this product.

Best shredder I've ever owned!
After being disappointed by my previous Fellowes 5312501 purchases, I decided to splurge on one that wouldn't jam and break. The C120-Ci is the best one I've owned, I don't need to open junk mail, the shredder eats it envelope and all with out any problems. Great if you have a large stack of mail waiting to be shredded!

Great for small offices
We have been purchasing smaller Fellowes 5312501 hredders and having to constantly replace every few months. As security issues have grown, we have had to consider larger more pricey shredder. After many hours of investigation, fellowes came out on top every time with power, down time between shreds and capacity. We originally went to other outlets and priced and found what we needed, was a little out of our price range. Someone mentioned checking with amazon and we did. Amazon had the exact same shredder at a much more affordable price that the big name retailer. We are a 9 person office and are average shredders. This works great for our office. I highly recommend this shredder.

Great home shredder!
I bought Aurora 30614 6-Sheet Light Duty Crosscut Paper Shredder : Aurora 30614 for home use-- for junk mail, receipts, etc. It performs exactly as advertised, although it chugs along with 6 pieces of paper, so I usually stick to 3 at a time. The cross-cut makes it pretty much impossible to paste things back together. It also does credit cards. Would be nice if it does CDs/DVDs, but still a great paper shredder for the price. It has a nice safety guard too, which keeps my toddler's fingers out of it! Overall, a nice home office shredder!

Best Shredder - Nothing I have found can touch this for the money!
This is a REAL confetti shredder. The pieces are very fine and much smaller than other brands that claim to be confetti shredders. (Compare the shred sizes!)
Anything else I have found with such small shreds has been much more than twice the price. Smaller shreds mean more security and less time between emptying the basket, because the shreds take up less room per page.
Works very quickly and efficiently, and I have not found this to be much louder than other comparable shredders.
I have used 13 gallon bags to catch the shreds in the basket. This makes cleaning out the shreds much easier and neater.
The plastic on the unit base is a little thin and I have had a few small cosmetic cracks, but this has not affected performance so far and the unit has held up well.
A great unit.

Got the Job Done!
When unit received, put it to work, probably too much according to specs. Performed very well, just jammed once and that was my fault, too thick of a load. I know it takes 10 pages, I would not want to shred 12 pages of my copy paper. I shredded a cd and credit card, worked. I am caught up on my shredding for a while, but still have more to do. I find the recommendations 2 minutes on 4 minutes off, work very well. If you get your stuff to shred in order, the 2 minutes seems like a long time. I do question the manual that no maintenance needed other than wiping off housing w/mild soap and water. Will be calling Honeywell to confirm. Seems as though oil would be needed after a while. When basket is pulled out, power is off. The wheels are a big help. I highly recommend...

Good buy!
I purchased Shredder Essentials 12-Sheet Cross Cut Shredder (SES-C1200)  after my old one gave up shredding. It was a much smaller unit than this one. After I received it, I put it to immediate use, shredding for about 1 hour, virtually non-stop except to empty the bin, I was very impressed with the unit, it is well-constructed and seems heavy duty. Besides paper, I shredded a couple of credit cards and a CD. It made a very strange noise after I placed the CD in the shredder, but it pulverized it. I am happy with the cross-cut feature, which does not leave long strips, but very small rectangles. I hope it continues to perform, but so far I am very happy with it. I will review again if something changes.

Great for home/personal use
After wanting a Shredder Essentials 12-Sheet Cross Cut Shredder (SES-C1200) for some time, I picked this up at a local retailer and got 20% off for using their credit card for my first purchase. This item seems like a home essential now with the surge of identity theft. My husband and I shred financial statements, medical documents and all that pre-approved "junk" mail we get. The catch container is large, about 15" tall, 13" wide and 7.5" deep. I empty it every week and it is rarely half full. We have had it for about 3 years and never had an issue with overheating, it has jammed one time I can think of. I also use it to shred newspapers for packaging items I sell on eBay (I rip sections into quarters before shredding). All-in-all a great value for any home, much cheaper than what could happen if someone steals your identity by rummaging through your trash.

Does a pretty good job
I often bring home from work materials that need to be Shredder Essentials 12-Sheet Cross Cut Shredder (SES-C1200) , so that the wrong eyes don't see sensitive material. This product shreds nicely; the cross cut shredding process makes it more difficult for anyone rummaging through the garbage to reassemble such documents.
Although the product works well, there are some minor issues. It does tend to jam, even when one does not place too many pages of documents into the shredder, and that can be mildly annoying. Also, when emptying the shredded remnants, sometimes they don't flow easily into the garbage bag and one has to pick up some of the shredding from the floor.
Still and all, this has been a useful product in dealing with materials that need to be disposed of in a secure manner.
